Topic - How To Get Your Business Out Of Stealth Mode

OK, admit it .. your company does a great job for it's customers, but you worry that you are Lancashire's best kept secret. You are not alone .. but you are quite probably in stealth mode!

In this interactive session, you will learn how people make decisions to buy, why positive media coverage is important, and, how to find new angles about YOUR business. We will also be looking for some top tips to create award submissions, how you can maximise your return on the investment at exhibitions and how to craft the ultimate elevator pitch - after all, PR is about communication.

Amanda Jackson runs Tigerfish PR, a specialist marketing communications agency working with manufacturers and supply chain companies. She chairs her professional association (CIPR) in Lancashire, lectures at Edgehill and is a Director of East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

What members and guests say

"Imagine a networking group that runs like clockwork, with no scary moments, no feeling of wasting your time and no dread when it's time for the next one! I tried a number of different networking groups in the early days of my business and the Preston Business-Network was the only one I have kept on. It is run superbly well by experienced businesswomen Karen Tems supported by warm, friendly helpers. They only allow professionals, senior staff and decision-makers to join, which ensures that contacts made are top-quality. Just the number of strategic business partnerships I have made makes it worth my membership fee, but I have also made sales and had referrals. The free seminars are also excellent and have included some top speakers - including Ian Brodie and Will Kintish. Come along as a guest one month, we will all make you very welcome."

"As a member of The Business Network Preston, we have attended their events on a number of occasions and have been blown away by the warm welcome and professionalism that is extended to all members and guests. People feel able to build long term relationships in the Network which helps generate business in a friendly and non - pushy manner. I would recommend The Business Network Preston without hesitation."
