I was delighted to see so many founder members, and to welcome many of their guests and previous visitors. The businesses at Preston have a wonderful sense of community and mutual support. That's really down to the effort that our members put into the network, and the amazing work they go on to deliver often in collaborations - as a result.

A very big Thank You to everyone who joined us for our second anniversary, particularly our founder members who are great ambassadors for the Preston network. I hope we'll be here to mark many more anniversaries and successes for our members.

During our first two years, The Business Network Preston has grown to include over 70 regular business members in sectors which are both complementary and diverse. From business development consultants to physiotherapists, accountants to entertainers, IT consultants to wholesale, the network is proud to represent a broad cross-section of the local business community.

What members and guests say

"Imagine a networking group that runs like clockwork, with no scary moments, no feeling of wasting your time and no dread when it's time for the next one! I tried a number of different networking groups in the early days of my business and the Preston Business-Network was the only one I have kept on. It is run superbly well by experienced businesswomen Karen Tems supported by warm, friendly helpers. They only allow professionals, senior staff and decision-makers to join, which ensures that contacts made are top-quality. Just the number of strategic business partnerships I have made makes it worth my membership fee, but I have also made sales and had referrals. The free seminars are also excellent and have included some top speakers - including Ian Brodie and Will Kintish. Come along as a guest one month, we will all make you very welcome. "

Michelle Scott

"The professionalism and fun that Karen brings to each event is impressive. Over the years I have attended many networks and The Business Network is by far and away the best! The clients we have gained through this group have been quality clients who have remained with us."
